PERFORMING QURBAN IN AFRICA
We work closely with partners who perform Qurban in Africa since 2019.
For Kenya, Msambweni and Kinango are sub-counties respectively in Kwale County, located in the southern coast of Kenya. Kwale County has a population of about 1 million of which about 85% are muslims. There is a base established there since 2019, to perform Aqiqah all year round, Infaq and Qurban projects
We are also offering qurban in other countries in Africa, namely Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Nigeria, too.
Saffrons Qurban reserves the right to plan allocation of the qurban orders in these different countries, to avoid oversupply of qurban being done in just 1 area, and so we can collectively reach out to more areas to benefit more people.
BENEFIT OF QURBAN IN AFRICA FOR THE POOR
1.The main benefit of Qurban is the provision of meat for consumption to the local community which about 75% of them live under the poverty line. There are folks who their only chance of consuming meat is via the Qurban and insha' Allah gain needed nutrients for their growth and health.
KEY TO BREAKING THE CIRCLE OF POVERTY
2. It is a means to upscale the business of goat/cow sellers and merchants. The revenue they generate through selling of their animals is used for the education of their children which is key to breaking the circle of poverty.
OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE
3. Qurban also provides an opportunity to teach and share knowledge among the local folks on how Qurban should be executed in a true halal way.
